Dr. Rothbart became a member of our team in June 2017 and has quickly become a vital part of ELAH. Before coming here she worked at South Windsor Veterinary Clinic in Ct. for 3 ½ years. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from UConn in 2007, and her veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She then did a rotating small animal internship at Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut in West Hartford, CT. Her special interests are in preventative care and geriatric pain management. Dr. Rothbart was raised in Nantucket and now resides in Windsor Locks, Ct with her husband Dan, son Trevor, and her furry kids Harvey the Bulldog and kitties Mortie and Earl. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and watching movies.

Dr. Rothbart joined ELAH in 2017 after earning her DVM from Tufts and completing an internship at Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut. Her interests include preventative care and geriatric pain management. She lives in Windsor Locks with her husband, son, Bulldog Harvey, and two cats.

Dr. Jennifer Maas joined ELAH in 2018 after earning her DVM from Cornell in 1980. She has practiced medicine and surgery with both farm and companion animals, contributed to humane legislation, and provided pro bono care from the Navajo Nation to Nicaragua. Passionate about animal welfare and ethics, she is pursuing a Master's in Animals and Public Policy at Tufts University.

Dr. Valley grew up in Massachusetts surrounded by animals and spent summers caring for calves on her grandma's Vermont farm. She earned her Animal Science degree from UConn and her DVM from Tufts in 2019, with special interests in nutrition, behavior, and Fear Free care. At home, she enjoys life with her dog Elsa, chickens, and a goose named Marie, and loves running, hiking, gardening, riding, and knitting.
