Dr. Valley grew up in Massachusetts surrounded by animals and spent summers caring for calves on her grandma's Vermont farm. She earned her Animal Science degree from UConn and her DVM from Tufts in 2019, with special interests in nutrition, behavior, and Fear Free care. At home, she enjoys life with her dog Elsa, chickens, and a goose named Marie, and loves running, hiking, gardening, riding, and knitting.

Dr. Ellen Valley

Veterinarian

Dr. Jennifer Maas joined ELAH in 2018 after earning her DVM from Cornell in 1980. She has practiced medicine and surgery with both farm and companion animals, contributed to humane legislation, and provided pro bono care from the Navajo Nation to Nicaragua. Passionate about animal welfare and ethics, she is pursuing a Master's in Animals and Public Policy at Tufts University.

Dr. Jenny Maas

Dr. Rothbart joined ELAH in 2017 after earning her DVM from Tufts and completing an internship at Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut. Her interests include preventative care and geriatric pain management. She lives in Windsor Locks with her husband, son, Bulldog Harvey, and two cats.

Valerie joined East Longmeadow in 2018 as Practice Manager and has over 30 years of veterinary experience. She lives with her husband, their Labrador Gabby, and enjoys cooking, decorating, and spending time with her family, grandson, and granddogs. Valerie treats every pet with the same care as her own.

Jenny has 7 years of veterinary experience, starting as a barn manager before studying equine at SUNY. She has worked in general practice and led stem cell therapy, bringing valuable skills to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her dogs, gardening, concerts, and the outdoors.

Jessica has been a Veterinary Technician for 5 years and is a registered CVT with degrees in Animal Sciences and Equine Studies. She is passionate about animal care and enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and three dogs.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Rose is a certified veterinary technician with 19 years of experience, holding degrees in animal science and veterinary studies. She began in general practice, later worked in emergency, and now focuses on her love for surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, her two cats, traveling to Florida, and all things Disney.

Jessica has been a Veterinary Technician for 10 years and also runs her own pet sitting business. She fosters and rehabilitates kittens for local rescues and shares her home with five cats and her partner, Kyle. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hiking, movies, and family time.

Carol has been part of the ELAH family for over 30 years, bringing her lifelong love of animals and a veterinary technician degree from Holliston Junior College. She lives in Ellington with her husband, their dog Potter, a cat, rabbits, and chickens, and enjoys hiking with her dogs and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Elijah has 9 years of experience in emergency and general practice and is valued for his skills and easy-going nature. Outside of work, he enjoys the gym and outdoor activities. His passion for animals shines through in his care for clients and patients.
